Seven Step Recruiting is an outsourced recruitment services company headquartered in Boston, MA. We help companies meet recruitment challenges involving volume, scale, resource constraints, compliance issues or logistical hurdles.
We’re different from other RPOs. We have a proprietary team-based approach to volume recruitment management. Our process is flexible, scalable and metrics-based from beginning to end. The most important metric in our business comes from our regular, ongoing client satisfaction surveys. (We’re doing well so far.)

Our roots in recruiting go back to 1989, the year that our first contingency recruitment agency was formed. From the beginning, we've worked to develop the most productive, efficient and manageable recruiting process possible. Today, our legacy agencies (Jobspring Partners and Workbridge Associates) operate sixteen different recruitment businesses around the country. Across the breadth of our company, every one of our recruiting businesses is still working every day to get more effective and more efficient at producing measurable recruitment results.

Reliable from the Start
In 2007, our company was contacted by IBM’s Human-Capital Management operation. IBM had a pressing need to create a sophisticated recruitment training program for one of their key clients; they were curious to see if we could help.
It took us just a few weeks to implement the custom recruitment training program IBM needed. Our success with this effort – the company's first large-scale outsourced-recruitment project – was the catalyst for launching Seven Step Recruiting a few months later. The project had proven the viability of our breakthrough recruitment process in high-volume, high-complexity situations. It was time to take on the RPO business full-time.
Preferred IBM Partner
The newly-launched Seven Step immediately became a go-to option for IBM. We were taking on some of their most vexing recruiting challenges and delivering results where other RPOs had failed. It allowed us to to prove the viability of our approach in a high-volume, high-complexity RPO situation.
