From its beginning in 1989, our parent company has worked to develop the most productive, efficient and manageable recruiting process possible. Our parent is a nationwide contingency recruiting company, operating two recruitment brands (Jobspring Partners and Workbridge Associates) in 10 cities around the country. The company's health and development depend on its ability to produce real recruitment results efficiently. Seven Step Recruiting takes our parent company's productivity breakthroughs and applies them to high-volume, high-complexity recruiting scenarios.
Breakthrough RPO Process
As you might guess, there are seven steps in our recruitment process. Their names (Setup, Source, Screen, Schedule, Feedback, Offer, Onboard) don't reveal anything too earth-shattering; the labels are familiar to anyone with a passing familiarity with recruitment. The breakthrough in our process isn't about how it lines up on paper; what's really revolutionary is the way we execute it. We know a better way to deliver recruitment value to our clients.
LEAN Recruitment Pioneers
We take a "LEAN recruiting" approach to our process. LEAN recruiting means, essentially, that we treat our clients' recruitment resources with care, making sure that they're directed toward – and only toward – generating clear, measurable recruitment results. We're ruthless about eliminating all the extraneous "stuff."
Measurement is critical to what we do. Each step in our process comes with an attached set of relevant success metrics. We report on our performance against them every day. Our systems, procedures and business model are all designed to make sure that our results focus stays intact with everything we do.
Teamwork in Recruiting
Other RPOs assign packs of lone-wolf recruiters or (worse) call center reps to their clients' challenges. Here, we address recruitment challenges using teamwork. Every project we take on is assigned a dedicated team (or teams) of recruiters and sourcing specialists. The team is accountable for meeting project objectives and step-by-step metrics with assembly-line efficiency. Every team is composed of highly trained, US-based college graduates who are well-equipped to represent our clients with maturity and professionalism.
Sales Mentality
The sales mentality our teams bring to the recruitment process is important piece of our contingency-recruiting inheritance. Keeping the recruitment process moving forward demands it. Strong candidates must be sold on job opportunities. Internal stakeholders have to buy in to an evolving hiring process. Hiring managers need to understand the potential in high-value candidates. That’s why we put special emphasis on selling skills when training our recruitment teams. Across the board, Seven Step's teams are composed of strong professional recruiters who are also strong salespeople.

We don't charge hourly fees for our services. We charge for results delivered. Our commitment to pay-for-performance keeps us focused on the task at hand. Seven Step never puts clients on the hook for our efficiency in getting there.
